119: Houndstooth

119: Houndstooth

I have been playing with this pattern today, and thought I may as well use it for a moustache.

118: Kaleidostache

Like a moustache-shaped kaleidoscope. Rainbow-y.

117: Matches

117: Matches

Matches stuck into a kneadable eraser. A matchstache.

116: Sandpaper Stache

116: Sandpaper Stache

...and you thought your moustache was scratchy.

114: Spirostache

114: Spirostache

Made with the spirograph tool in Inkscape. Connected at the bottom... Maybe that sends it into moustache/beard combo territory...

113: Coffee cup Sleeve

To go with the moustache cup! A felt coffee sleeve!

112. Moustache cup (to go)

112. Moustache cup (to go)

Today was a sleeeeepy day. A good day for coffee. I noticed that the lids on take-out coffee cups serve the same function as moustache cups from the 19th century - they keep your moustache dry! So I turned this into a more traditional moustache cup, with a moustache-shaped rim.

108. Tie tack

108. Tie tack

I don't have a real tie, so I made one out of duct tape, of course.

107. Bar graph

Ups and downs...

I'm not sure what kind of data we have here... It's up to you to decide.

Extra fancy.
Fancier photos to follow.

105. Stache n' Chips

105. Stache n' Chips

Inspiration struck over dinner, after I had finished most of my fries (I know, I shouldn't have, but they were tasty). I didn't have much to work with, so this is pretty basic:

I reserved the three fries at the bottom for other variations, but the other diners were starting to stare.... so I ate them (the fries, not the diners). I'm not much of an exhibitionist. As it turns out, my shenanigans inspired them to play with their food, too. I feel an odd sense of accomplishment. Alas, I did not get a picture.

104. Ink blot

104. Ink blot

It's open to interpretation, but I, of course, see a moustache.  Red ink on folded paper.

103. Moustache greetings

103. Moustache greetings

This is just a silly greeting card I made.
It probably doesn't make much sense unless you've seen this. A bit lazy of me, I know.

102. Eraserstache

102. Eraserstache

This is one of those kneadable art erasers formed into a moustache. The bottom picture is a kind of before and after.

101. Cord wrap

101. Cord wrap

I designed this handy dandy little cord wrap for the laser cutter. It works with all three sets of earbuds I've tried it on so far. I'll be putting this in my shop in the next day or so. Stay tuned! (ha)

100. Tape dispensers

100. Tape dispensers

I saw a tape dispenser shaped like a high heeled shoe, and immediately thought that a double-sided moustache tape dispenser (which is handy because it can hold two different types of tape) would be twice as fun. I made a rounded housing for these, but they look better just as they are.

99. Whirligigs, maple seeds

99. Whirligigs, maple seeds

I had something else planned for today, but waking up to a thousand or more of these little green moustaches in the yard was impossible to resist. I never knew what they were before, but I'm pretty sure they are maple seeds. I'd be curious to know what other people call them.

98. Chalkboard cutouts

98. Chalkboard cutouts

The craft store had a bunch of little crown-shaped paper chalkboards on sale, so I decided to make moustaches out of them.
Here's a kingly fellow:
 and...

...a moustache thief!

97. Moustache license plate

97. Moustache license plate

Sized to fit a bicycle, made with a laser cutter. I totally had a little license plate with my name on it when I was a kid. Did you?

95. Something fishy

95. Something fishy

I'm not quite satisfied with this as a moustache, but I like how the eyes look.

I don't really fish. These came in a tackle box that I use to store small electronic components. I figured I'd think of something to do with them one day.

94. A vial trick

94. A vial trick

Apologies for the pun. These are two of those water vials florists put on flower stems sometimes.
I'm not sure what they are really called, but they make a nice, pointy moustache.

93. Moustache fan

93. Moustache fan

Warm weather is sort of, kind of, almost here.
One of these might just come in handy.

92. Moustache mail

92. Moustache mail

The moustaches are cut out of security envelopes and glued down (if you decide to do this, make sure to paste the edges down tight so they don't get stuck in the mail sorter).

91. Duct tape moustache

91. Duct tape moustache

Duct tape. You really can make just about anything with duct tape.

90. Lightstache

90. Lightstache

This one is made of those bike lights that hook around your handlebars...

The extended part is made of rubber and it wraps around and hooks onto the tab on the back. A handlebar moustache with no handlebars? Reminds me of this (see #3).

I like that this one looks kinda like a black and white photo even though it isn't.
